Summary: It depends on what you're looking for. If you want fancy, amenities, this isn't for you. If you're looking for an affordable alternative to stay in Manhattan that is clean, with great owners, in a quiet, safe neighborhood, and just worried about a place to lay your head for the night, then this is the place for you. Being in East Harlem, it's a 3 block walk off the 6 train (2 down and 1 over), we found several excellent places in the area to eat that were clean, with good portions, at prices cheaper than I can eat in CT. We had an excellent experience, and will be staying here again in the future
