Enjoy a meal or drink at The George on the High Street, The Orchard in Galhampton, The Natterjack in Evercreech, or The Alhampton Inn. For those who drive, there is ample free parking on the streets at the front and back for the cottage. However, driving isn't essential, as Castle Cary benefits from pretty good travel connections for a small town in Somerset!
The local train station is around 25 minutes walk or a 5 minute drive away from the property. Taxis are available from the station, though pre-booking is advised. Trains run directly from London Paddington and take roughly 1 hour 30 minutes, as well as Bristol, Bath and Exeter. There is also a local bus service.
Other Things to Note:
We welcome one small dog with a fee of £20. It is on the condition they are not allowed on the sofas, beds and not left in the property unattended. Any mess outside must be cleared up.
