Summary: This review is split into two parts, one for the room and one for the restaurant. The restaurant was the good part of the experience, with friendly staff who were happy to accommodate a late request for a table & the food was excellent and well priced. My room (room 12) was not great. There is no lock from the inside, just an external handle which doesn't turn to prevent entry without a key. The layout is odd, with a little corridor to the bathroom which whilst clean is still very worn and dated. There is also a nest full of baby birds directly outside of the single-glazed window, which would be fine for a bird-lover or somebody hard of hearing, but not great otherwise.
