Summary: The room was very clean, small, but well appointed. We were experiencing one of the hottest days in the UK so it was a bit uncomfortable for sleeping due to the lack of ac, there was an oscillating fan in the room which provided some relief but without a window for some fresh air during the night, it was a little stuffy. There was great water pressure and a lovely clean bathroom which was separated from the sleeping area by a heavy tapestry curtain. We had just arrived that afternoon from an overnight flight from Canada so needed a shower and a nap. When we went to the pub for a bite, we were told that the kitchen closed at 9 pm. So we had to jump in the car and head into town to find something to eat, a little inconvenient, wish we had known!
