Summary: If peace & quiet is what you're after then the Cambrian is not for you. If on the other hand you're looking for a lively time with sports on screen, music & karaoke just downstairs & inexpensive drinks then it definately is. Sadly there is no food served here but we found plenty of places around to eat every meal from a full breakfast & afternoon tea to fish & chips on Friday & a Sunday roast. There is a sunny little terrace outside the room but unfortunately it's not a private one being shared with not only the room next door but also with customers drinking in the bar, it was quite a shock to come back to the room Saturday night & find several people sitting literally directly outside what is essentially your bedroom window. The beds had seen better days & squeaked loudly with each movement I personally found mine to be a little uncomfortable. At some point there had been a leak in the room I stayed in the water mark from which was still visible in the carpet. The staff here are all lovely, the rooms are spacious, equipped with lots of storage as well as tea & coffee making facilities, the bathroom is large & clean with soft towels & toiletries provided infact the whole stay was extremely reasonably priced & overall I enjoyed my time here.
