Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The hosts were friendly and polite, and also made room in the fridge. They provided a set of cutlery, plate and a saucepan. The room was spacious and bright with a standing desk, which was handy. The separate bathroom was private and clean. The area was quite pleasant too.

Negative: There was no lock on the bedroom door and the balcony door was permanently unlocked, shared with the bedroom next door. The walls were thin and sound travelled from the living room where they were watching TV. With the lack of locks, having the blind up on a floor-to-ceiling glass door to a balcony shared with their bedroom, needing to leave the room for the bathroom or enter the kitchen whilst they were relaxing to get water, felt like I was lacking privacy. The listing mentioned a microwave and toaster which weren't there. It wasn't quite clear whether I could use other items like knives, chopping boards and a frying pan since they split out a specific set, but they were okay with this when asked.
