Watch for falling stars in the Jacuzzi, play ping pong and enjoy beverages at the fire pit overlooking a small pond. This restored 13-foot ‘little camper that can’ is pet-friendly and comfortably sleeps two adults. Plus, the new 12x12 gazebo can sleep two more adults - just bring sleeping bags, as we can supply a camping pad. Or, use the gazebo as your living room and the camper as your bedroom. We're all about choice here.
Headroom in the camper is about 6’. You get a three-burners stove, private-entrance bathroom at the main house 400 yards away, a jacuzzi on the deck at the house, outside shower at the house, refrigerator, coffee maker, kitchenware, dry toilet in the camper, linen and plenty of room for a tent.
Our Ramble on Rose camper is perfectly situated for privacy yet only a few minutes from Exit 25 on the Garden State Parkway. It includes a grill and beach chairs/towels. The ping pong table is only yards away inside the ‘big red barn.’ There’s plenty of room to park and to store your kayaks, surfboards and beach toys.
If the beach is too crowded (ask us about the best beaches), there are tons of things to do nearby. Walk or jog the abandoned railroad tracks only a few yards away from Ramblin’ Rose, play pickleball in Ocean City, listen for owls, peepers and coyotes at night, watch the hawks ride the thermals during the day, enjoy the free tennis courts at Caldwell Park, less than a half-mile away, enjoy the splendor of the Cameron Wildlife Refuge, 0.8 miles away, visit the air museum in Woodbine or get the best chicken . This is the South Jersey that remains a secret to so many - so close to the beach, yet so different and with so much variety. Here, it’s all yours.
