Summary: Very much enjoyed our stay. Owners George and Penelope were wonderful -- welcoming, kind, and thoughtful, even providing numerous groceries for us upon our arrival. The house is right on the sand, steps from the sea, with spectacular views. While the accommodation is not luxurious, and the bathroom needs some work, the bed was very comfortable, and we were able to use the washing machine while there. Great location for enjoying the surrounding area, towns, and villages, and for visiting Knossos and Phaestos. Another big plus was the total silence; only the waves could be heard.
