Positive: Fantastic host and accommodations. Niki welcomed us with olives from their orchard (best we've ever had) and a delicious cake with homemade apricot perserves. Niki is a wonderful cook. The most peaceful location, which was a 15 min walk to dinner, beaches & mini mart. A favorite part was sitting on the top balcony at night & spending time with the family. Even in August, the breezes made the balconies a great place to hang out between activities. The castle was big enough that each couple (4) could enjoy time to themselves without having to stay in their room. We enjoyed hiking, beaches, a monastery, and several churches.Had a great day in the city of Kalamata (20 minute drive). We had more planned, but opted to relax at the castle and beaches instead. Loved walking to dinner at night, great food, and a lot of places to choose from. As my daughter put it, the rating was a 10 within the first 15 minutes and went up from there the rest of the stay. Would love to return!

Negative: The driving made me nervous. But it did not bother the ones that drove in our group so we took trips to bakeries, coffee shops, and many other activities.
