Welcome to the holiday home Haus Mare in Bodstedt (built in 2011). Our house is quietly located in a small holiday home settlement on the southern Bodden coast, from the balcony you have a wonderful view of the Saaler Bodden. In Bodstedt you will find the traditional harbour with the famous Zeesboots and the ship landing stage, a small beach with sunbathing lawn, several restaurants (of course also with fish dishes), a fish stand with smokehouse, a summer cinema at the Camingplatz and many other leisure activities. The Bodden is also a well-known kitesurfing and fishing area. You can hire a fishing boat at the harbour or in Pruchten/Barth. The beaches of Zingst or Prerow are only a few kilometres away and can also be reached by bike (rental on site). Ribnitz-Damgarten (German Amber Museum and manufactories), Stralsund (Ozeaneum, Oceanographic Museum), Rostock (Zoo and Warnemünde) and of course the Fischland/Darß (Ahrenshoop ...) are also worth a visit. Cafe in about 50 metres. Many shopping facilities in Barth (4 km - Lidl, Aldi, Edeka, Famila, Stolz ...). Barther Boddenbühne, Bible and local history museum, airfield in the small town on the Barthe. Our house is heated with a modern heat pump.
