Positive: The positives….It was hot…..It was situated within a quiet complex, had a great pool area, comfortable bed, reasonable view, clean, Antonio (manager) was very helpful by getting us extra fans for the apartment, mending the TV, collecting and dropping us at the airport. Credit to the owner. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment, but no instructions as to what coffee was used in the machine. All the electrics worked great.

Negative: The fact there was no AC, in a modern complex I was expecting it, however I obviously failed to see it on the listing, but we were supplied with an extra fan still leaving us with the doors open 24/7, there was no welcome pack which I was disappointed with as I didn’t know the numbers for emergency services, taxis, take outs, etc there was no info supplied for attractions etc, and if we hadn’t asked Antonio the key code we wouldn’t have got in after being out, that alone should be in a WP, there was a musty smell as soon as we walked in which took the best part of 5 days to clear, as much as it was clean and tidy I’d have expected a freshen up to have been done or even the windows/doors opened prior to us getting there. The shower wasn’t the easiest to use and with some fiddling eventually got it working. We found by accident a water machine that takes less than a Euro and will fill a 5 litre water bottle up saving you money, why weren’t we told about its situation on the complex. Saves you money and carriage from the supermarket. If you are after an easy walk home from a night out this isn’t the place for you as it’s a 4km walk up hill. The parasol and outdoor seating need a massive upgrade as the pictures show a different combination and that’s partly what gripped me as it looked comfy to sit out on at night instead the cushions were flat and the parasol had holes in, the stand is unreliable and not safe for kids to be around. The apartment could do with some TLC as the wallpaper was coming off in places, and there’s no safe. Some may argue with me about this review but it’s an honest review, I like to spend time to appreciate a place I’m renting not wishing I’d booked somewhere else. Finally a little steep on pricing for a weeks stay at the begin of July and out the school holidays.
