Early 1800s farmhouse has been thoughtfully restored and decorated, and sits along a quiet dirt road, across the road from (and access to) Caspian Lake. Guests can enjoy rural acres of pasture and woods, as well as nearby hikes, biking, swimming, ice fishing and skiing.
The space: Built in the early 1800s, with additions in the late 1800s and the late 1900s. We have restored it with an eye for comfort and good design, but respect for the past. The area is almost always snowy in the winter and cool in summer. Please ask about lake access, which is a 5-10 minute walk down a dirt road followed by a woods trail. We have a right-of-way to the lake, which about a 10 minute walk and includes a woods path. Probably not suitable for the elderly or for carrying a heavy boat down.
