Positive: First and foremost, the owner is extremely nice and generouse in hospitality and advice. The appartment is very spacious and nicely decorated. Everything works perfectly and super clean. Comofortable beds, air and light streaming in from three sides through the doors and windows. Sunrise and sunset makes for a lovely mountains view. The location is perfect. Just 12 minutes from Ioanina center, lake, castel, shopping and night places (lots of free parking in town). Yet it is in a quiet spot, only 15 minutes away from the entrance to the Zagory mountain range, and less to Parema cave. Many good restaurants within 5-10 minutes away (Try the i Valory), And supermarket just as close. Free easy parking right at the door, privacy and peace. We found a fridge stocked with fruits, vegetables and fresh free-range eggs fro the owners' own pen. The kitchen is fully equipped and all the little essential are available - oil, seasoning, coffee (3 kinds) etc. There is even a canter of local liquer and snacks. This place is perfect for a couple or a family of 4 (more if younge kids). It is a great place as a homely base for touring the entire region. In terms of value, it us amazing, and we were treated more like visiting relatives than tourists. We were sad to leave and are already thinking about how quickly we can come again, because 3 days are far from enough to explore all that we would like the region.
