Positive: The rooms were very clean, the balcony generous and the pool quite large and with a great view. The staff is nice and they gave us extra pillows, when we asked. They cleaned and changed sheets and towels every two days. The air conditioning works well and it is very convenient that all doors and windows have shutters and nets. Getting there is helped a lot by the clear signs placed at every turn in the village. It's a steep road but we've seen much worse. There is plenty of parking inside the property and many nice flowers all around. The beach itself in Achladi is nothing special, except for the nice rocks at the southern end which are a great place for the brave ones who like to dive off them into the clear water.

Negative: The kitchen is so basic that you should give up the idea of cooking. You can eat on the balcony but cooking is near to impossible. There is a frying pan and a pot but there are no tools to cook with: no spatula, not even a wooden spoon and no salt, pepper, oil, sugar, etc. Not even a kitchen towel. I made eggs one morning and I had to get them out of the pan with a soup spoon. There is not even a cork screw. The place has a bar open all day but most people would expect having a cork screw in their kitchen. The hours for the pool are a bit limited ( 10 am to 8 pm) and you cannot invite anyone from outside the hotel to the pool. Our friends who came to visit us for one day from Athens were not allowed to join us at the pool so we all had to leave so we can hang out together. This restriction was not communicated in advance.
