Lysekil is known for being one of northern Europe's best places for canoeing, kayaking, diving, and fishing. In the summer you can catch a tourist boat and enjoy the archipelago, or why not go on a seal safari? In the centre of Lysekil you will find shops, restaurants and music events. If you are interested in history you will enjoy the ancient rock carvings on the cliffs of Brodalen! You can also visit Vikarvets Museum where you can learn more about what the stone- and tin industry was like in the past. For those who love swimming, there's an excellent, child-friendly beach by Govik. Or why not visit the harbour, where you will find a great bistro and the exciting aquarium Havets Hus. Other activities are the guided tours through the town and the nature reserve Stångehuvud.
