As you arrive in the drive way at Three Gables, you will instantly feel relaxed, hearing the stream run down the side, it provides relaxing and unique self catering accommodation. Park the car in the allocated space and head up to the first floor of the conversion where it opens out in to a lovely light space, set out as a studio apartment the open plan layout provides convenience and simplicity. There is a kitchenette with a hob, microwave and fridge; a dining table to seat two guests and a double bed with a TV. A generously sized shower room is also on the first floor with cubicle shower. There is a quaint bistro set by the allocated parking space giving you a nice area to enjoy some sun, or cross over the little bridge into the meadow fields.

A short drive away is Newark Castle which stands as a testament to history and gives you a glimpse into the areas past, the castle often hosts events and exhibitions that showcase its heritage. Sherwood Forest is legendary and famous for its association with Robin Hood and its ancient Oak Tree’s, it makes for a fantastic day out along with Clumber Park. The Civil War Museum in Newark will take you back to the 17th century and uncover one of the most turbulent times in history. Numerous National Trust sites to visit, the closest being The Workhouse. The famous Southwell Minster has many events throughout the year and the pretty town has plenty of independent shops and cafes.
