Located at the top of the village raised above the surrounding houses, you’ll enjoy unobstructed views to the Aegean and cooling sea breezes yet still feel very much connected to everyday village life. Careful of the environment, the very well insulated 2 double bedrooms are naturally cool in summer thanks to cross breezes and stone walls rather than energy consuming A/C and we provide filtered drinking water via 12 litre refillable drinking dispensers to reduce plastic consumption on the island.
As the temperature drops in October the in-built radiator heating will keep you warm and cosy while you cuddle up watching Netflix drinking local wine and eating delicious Tinian cheese and meze.
Comfortably sleeping 7 adults, in addition to the 2 bedrooms there is a sofa bed and the L shaped dining area has been designed as a bed also. There is a portable dining table for easy indoor and outdoor living.
A spacious Cycladic stone bathroom with overhead shower (unusual in Greece!) is stocked with world famous Greek amenities from KORRES, and a hairdryer. A washing machine, iron, ironing board and drying racks are also provided downstairs.
A charming village with gorgeous views to neighbouring islands of Mykonos (only a 20min ferry ride away!), Syros, and even Naxos on a clear day, Dio Choria is located with easy access to all of Tinos’ traditional villages and beaches. A quick 20 min drive to the beaches of Lichnaftia, Santa Margarita, to the west, Livada and Kolympithra to the north and Aghios Fokas, and Kionia, to the south. Enjoy traditional tavernas in Dio Choria and at nearby villages Arnados, Triandaros, and Berdemiaros less than 1.5 km from Dio Choria.
