Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Parking next to the property under shaded carport was great in the hot summer. Several open balconies to sit on. A full sized fridge and newish kitchen. Good cupboard space for clothes. Good storage space throughout the apartment. Relatively newish building with key and code entry. Air-conditioning in every room. Good couch area to sit. All in all a nice apartment that is almost new and in a quiet ish spot back from the coast with parking.
Negative: The rooms were dusty in places. Apartment smelt of smoke so had to keep windows and A/C on but host was nice about it. Shower tight and screen didn't contain water so bathroom always got wet but a mop was provided. Bed was medium firm not cushioned enough for us so sleeping was a little uncomfortable but will be fine for people that like a firmer bed. Rooms were abit small because of our luggage but ok if only 2 people and child with not too much luggage. Apartment a few blocks back from the beach, you get a small view of the water between other hotels and apartments. Delayed contact with host but did get back to us at some stage and was friendly. Last message went unanswered when we had a power outage. Ironing board needs replacing and couldn't be used. Apartment needs a inside broom or vacuum cleaner as no house keeping. There was one external broom but not very useful. Price was abit high considering we stayed for over 2 weeks. Handy to have a car for this location unless you don't mind walking places in the heat. Relatively nice apartment, would stay again if the bed was more comfortable and the price was reasonable. It scored a solid 8/10 , doesn't meet 10/10 standards. Would like to give it higher if some things were taken care of first.
