There are In many traditional taverns locally to enjoy traditional foods one of which is Spiro and his family who have being serving local food for over 30 years and enjoy fresh "Garides" king prawns from the Ambracian Gulf, Greek salad under mighty 500-year-old olive trees at Spiro's son, Georgios, in his tavern on the beach of Koulouri. You will rarely find such a beautiful place again. Maybe you don't go out, but cook yourself, because you have harvested deep red aromatic tomatoes, crunchy cucumbers and ripe peppers in the organic garden of Geogios, the manager you are allowed to use. If you then strike up a conversation with Georgios, you can expect an entertaining, long evening. You will learn a lot about the Greek way of life and point of view first-hand. After every stay at Villa Levanda you, your family and friends will look forward to your next stay in the unspoilt environment with the friendly people.
The Facts
Via the central, automatically operated entrance gate you drive onto the property to your holiday home with several parking spaces at the house.
To Villa Levanda fully renovated to a high standard in 2022! with a living area of 227 m2 with space for 10 people belong to about 2000 m2 of land. The plot is part of a west-facing 40000 m2 fully fenced plot on a hillside with direct access to the beach. The village of Sparto is about 1.5 km away and offers typical Greek shopping (bakery, gas station, small supermarket). The nearest town is Amfilochia with a beautiful promenade, 9 km away. In this small Greek town you will find everything you need for care (health centre, doctors, taverns, supermarkets) and in the small harbour you will also find a berth for your boat. Every Wednesday there is a big market day here. A wide range of sailing ships and yachts can be rented in the harbour of the city of Lefkada (approx. 50 km). The nearest airport is Preveza, 45 km away. Athens is about 3.5 hours away by car. The journey time from the ferry port of Igoumenitsa is about 1.5 hours.
The holiday home consists of a conventionally built, two-storey house with a pergola in front of it. Of course, all rooms are en suite fully equipped with their own air conditioning, TV connection and Wi-Fi.
Outdoor
In front of the house is a terrace of about 100 m2, which is partly spanned by a pergola to provide shade. Sun Beds Dinning Area Right next to the house there is an outdoor shower for refreshment. From the terrace you have a wonderful view over the Ambracian Gulf and the Acarnanian Mountains and it is the ideal place to enjoy the sunset spotting the dolphins.
The whole property is bordered by oleanders and lavender bushes. The more than 100 lavender bushes give the villa its name.
The holiday home has been completely renovated and has been available for rent again since 01 June 2022.
