If you want to combine the yogic, peaceful, serene and meditative way of living in an ashram with everything that goes on in the heart of the historical beautiful city of Ioannina, then this is the right place for you! This Urban Yoga House experience will give you the right equilibrium of retreating into it's atmospheric yoga shala's vibes, while living right in the vibrant beating heart of Ioannina's cultural and historical center.
Within your private bedroom and the yoga dorm there is a little yogic living room corners with comfy pillows, a big comfortable yogic sofa bed that you can chill and relax, spacious closets with hangers and plenty of drawers also. You can access the reception's yogic cozy living room and the reception tea - kitchen / dining room as well where you can always find warm tea, coffee and cookies to snack on.
The yoga practice room (shala) is also available for personal practice outside the daily yoga lessons schedule. While staying in the ''Urban Yoga House'' you will get the opportunity to use the shala at any time for your own yoga practice, enjoy the common area where you will always find warm tea and a place to relax and enjoy some time alone, join any experience of your preference, from meditation or vipassana (silent time) to yoga classes , massage sessions and rejuvenating herbal baths to traditional kirtan music concerts and special events or wonder around and discover the city or the beautiful nature surrounding it by bike or on foot. We kindly request that during their stay all our guests respect and share our yogic way of living and enjoy their stay in the perspective of detox and purification. Within our space we only share vegan/vegetarian meals, there is no substances or alcohol use, while being eco-aware respecting our planet... our only home.
