Positive: -- Room -- I believe we got an upgrade to a room with ocean-view - the bed was huge, bathroom immaculate and the view lovely. -- Food -- We only stayed 2 nights, so naturally, the food couldn't have gotten repettitive like some other reviews mention, but while the breakfasts we had were identical, the selection was quite big nonetheless. Lunch was nothing to write home about, but food was decent. There were 4 restaurants to choose from for dinner, and one had themed nights - it's a bit hit and miss, but we had some great tacos and some underwhelming fish. -- Facilities -- The resort is huge - the first couple of days you could just explore. We still got lost even by end of day 2. There's a really nice beach area with shallow waters stretching far and wide, where you can get some drinks/snacks and lay for hours. The multiple pool areas were nice and catered to different vibes (one was more vibey with music, games and a lounge, the other more chill, with just a bar). -- Staff -- Everyone was friendly and tried to make everyone's stay a memorable one - during evening activities there was quite a lot of dancing, mainly lead by some of the staff members - who were actually great dancers!

Negative: -- Room -- The one thing that was a bit unfortunate is that we weren't able to cast content from our devices to the TV, so were kind of stuck with live TV (not a problem for us, didn't really watch anything anyway, but there's no builtin Netflix/Youtube/etc.) -- Facilities -- There's a VIP lounge which we didn't have access to (though it wasn't really clear who does or doesn't, but appreciate it's our fault for not looking into it). -- Staff -- Barely any of the staff spoke English. The service would sometimes grind to a halt if either you didn't speak Spanish or there wasn't the one other staff member around who spoke some English. This was very clear from when we had to check in, as there was a long queue of people trying to sort out their rooms, struggling because out of the 4 people in reception only one spoke English. I appreciate it's not the native language of the country, but it was disconcerting to find that despite being an international resort, virtually none of the staff spoke English.

Summary: Luxurious and chill, but knowing Spanish goes a long way
