The villa is located upon the hill of Kafkales in the village of Maleme. This particular spot was extremelly important during the World War II, since it included the control of the airport of Maleme and all the surrounded areas. After the defeat of the Greek forces at that spot, the Germans conquered the whole island.
All places of the villa have been built respectfully to the surrounding physical environment, offering comfortable spaces in several spots around it. It sits inside a vast yard of olive trees and the fence is fully built using material of the local ground.
