Quiet, full of fresh air, the two floor sunny house is surrounded by vineyards and olive fields in a traditional small village in the middle of Crete. Panoramic view from the living room and from the kitchen which are on the upper floor. Garden & pool view from the 3 bedrooms. Private pool also for the night. BBQ & wood oven outdoors. Guests can find all facilities in the kitchen and all the goods for a healthy Cretan breakfast at their arrival.
At your arrival we will be waiting for you at the villa and show you around in your accommodation. The refrigerator will be full of the Cretan breakfast (milk, coffee, sugar, butter, local eggs, bread, jam & fruits).Variety of wine tasting in the area. 7 km from the important ancient town of Knossos and 2km from the oldest wine pressings in Crete. 4 km from the museum-house of the great author Nikos Kazantzakis. 2 km from Archanes, 17km from the nearest north beach & 25 km from the nearest south beach.
It is absolutelly necessery to have your own transportation. Heraklions' airport is 15 km away, Gas station is 2 km away and local mini market is 200 m far.
Not convinient for handicapts, (stairs).
There are plenty of folklore dance & live music festivals in the area in summer time.Guests can find all facilities in the kitchen and all the goods for a healthy Cretan breakfast. Bathroom with hair drier, shampoo and clean towels. For guests who love piano playing, cycle or hiking is the correct choice too. Pets are welcome.
We are a family with 2 kids and 1 dog. We are staying in the same village, so we are available at any time to comunicate with our visitors.
We do love children, pets and hiking on the mountains or in the gorges or among the beaches. We could help our guests renting a car or minibus and give directions for any activity in Crete or the islands around. I do speak English, German, French & Italian.
We take care of our gardens offer fresh eggs from our chickens for our visitors! Our region also produces milk from goats or sheeps, vegetables, fruits, wine and excellent quality extra virgin olive oil.
