The settlement of Kinira, located on the island’s eastern coast, is a peaceful base for exploring Thassos’s many beaches, ancient sites, and traditional villages. It offers a quiet atmosphere, a few family-run tavernas serving fresh seafood, and wonderful views of the small uninhabited Kinira Island just offshore.

Just two kilometers south of Kinira lies Paradise Beach, one of the most famous beaches on Thassos.
