Positive: Proavlio Hotel was great. Large room, an en suite bathroom, a comfortable double bed and air conditioning, plus a view of the sea. But what set it apart was the owner. Mixalis greeted me warmly with a shot of his homemade wine. You couldn't meet a nicer, more honest, more welcoming man. He is a credit to the Greek people. I come to Greece because of people like him.

Negative: The WiFi was a bit flaky, I suspect, because of the village's remote location. Proavlio is not on Google Maps. I'm sure bookings would increase if it was. It also makes it easier to find.
