Summary: Met by Maria as soon as we disembarked from the ferry, and was given the keys and overview of the island and directions to Maganari Beach. Incredible drive through the lunar landscape of IOS to arrive at a well appointed beach house in a quite & remote setting. Beautiful beaches serviced by three family run restaurants, but no store, so make sure you shop in the port, or in Hora.before you venture out. Enjoyed a few days of downtime, before a few excursions into the party town and sunsets provided in Hora. Great restaurants and party atmosphere, but the drive home through the mountains and herds of goats with their bells on, was memorable. Maganari is a very secluded area, offering a taste of the Greek Isles that is quite unique. The house itself is postcard perfect with room to stretch out and emerse oneself into the local relaxed lifestyle. Thanks Maria for the wonderful memories Ian, Laura, Aidan, and Melissa
