The Metro is a 5 minute walk through a walking street that has numerous coffee shops, bakeries, & restaurants. You are only 4 stops from the Acropolis Museum, Parthenon, & Plaza. 5 stops to Syndagma (center of town), 7 stops from the Archeological Museum.
The beauty of this apartment is that it has a local Greek neighborhood with reasonable restaurant prices and yet, you are only 1 &1/2 miles away from all the Antiquities where the restaurants are very pricey.
We also have an excellent taxi driver that can take you anywhere you want to go at a very reasonable prices without any hassle. We use him all the time - he speaks English. He is only a telephone call away. Will pick you up from the airport and from the apartment for your daily excursions. Of course the Metro is also close by.
