Positive: We had a great stay at the villa. We are a couple from England and wanted the privacy of a villa rather than hotel and this was great for that. The pool is lovely, we paid the extra 35 euros per day to have it heated. It’s a perfect villa for a couple, with a lovely interior and bedroom with en suite as well as the bathroom downstairs. The terrace was nice and we sat and had dinner there a few times as well as a drink. As we are a young couple we didn’t rent a car due to the fact we would be drinking alcohol when we go out, this meant getting taxi’s to Heraklion and hersonissos which obviously meant we spent quite a lot on taxis but we knew this before we went. If you rent a car there’s no problem with the destination as it’s a 20 min ish drive to Heraklion. But we preferred Hersonisoss which had good night life and plenty of bars/restaurants. This took about 25-30 mins to get to and from. Giorgos is a great host, we had a power cut one night and he was quick and came out straight away to source the problem and fix this (there was a trip on the main board outside) He also gave us recommendations and always responded quickly on WhatsApp.

Negative: The property itself is great, the only inconvenience was the location without us having a car, so we spent a lot on taxis, however this was something we knew we would have to do when we booked so not an issue really.

Summary: Great stay, really enjoyable.
