Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: A good budget hotel within walking distance of the harbour. When the boat from Rhodes arrives, someone from the hotel is waiting with a minibus to pick up tourists. There are several restaurants and a small shop by the sea. The room wasn't very large (it had two beds). There's a refrigerator in a small kitchen. The bathroom is really tiny. The shower area (separated by a curtain) was also far too small. The shower head can't be hung up. The breakfast is delicious. But there could be a bit more bread. You can request more bread, but I don't know how many times you can ask that… The father organises day trips by boat to Saria, the uninhabited island north of Karpathos. Highly recommended! For €20, they take you to Olympos, the most beautiful site in all of Karpathos. Olympos is a wonderful place to stay a few days!
