This gorgeous home boasts some of the most captivating and commanding views of any property in our Corfu portfolio. From the infinity edge of Aronia’s (fifteen metre long!) private pool, grounds and numerous sunny terraces, a magnificent sweeping panorama stretches out across country, coast and azure Ionian Sea to Corfu Town, the Albanian shoreline and snow-capped Ceraunian Mountains beyond; an entrancing vista that is certainly amongst the best this relaxed and welcoming island has to offer.
Flowing effortlessly over two levels and with an equally desirable annexe just a few steps away (off the end of the pool terrace), Aronia lends itself particularly well to a larger group or family who can easily enjoy a holiday all together whilst retaining personal space and privacy.
The bright, fresh interiors are hugely attractive, décor being an ‘easy on the eye’ combination of soft creamy-white shades augmented by contrasting splashes of vivid colour in the bedspreads, curtains, cushions and pictures. Enhancing the restful ambience still further, panoramic glass doors illuminate the vaulted beamed ceiling of the main living room, there are floors of cooling ceramic tiles throughout, en suite facilities to each bedroom, comprehensive air conditioning and convenient direct access to the pool or garden from almost every room.
Outside you will find ample space in which to ‘kick back’, revel in the bucolic surroundings and take in that sumptuous view. Sure to appeal to non-swimmers and younger party members in particular, a large shallow ledge with adjacent Roman steps can be found at one end of the pool, a designated barbecue area and dining terrace invite sizzling suppers under the stars while the surrounding grounds, populated with a great variety of mature indigenous shrubs, are a nature lover’s delight and very atmospherically lit up in the evening.
Excellent amenities including many tavernas, bars, supermarkets and a long sandy beach with seasonal watersports are all within a 10 minute drive at Ipsos plus the myriad attractions of Corfu Town itself are easily reached in a 15-20 minute drive. But, quite frankly, you will probably not want to leave Aronia! Whether swimming, dining or just generally relaxing in the benign Mediterranean sunshine we guarantee your gaze will inexorably drift back to that wonderful view (resistance is futile!).
