Positive: The location is incredible, the house is right by the sea. The view of the sea from the balcony and from the kitchen window was breathtaking. Our mornings and evenings were idyllic and peaceful with the sounds of the waves and looking at the sea. We would walk down to the beach in seconds, which was fantastic. I’ve traveled quite a bit, and I can honestly say this might be the best beach house I’ve ever stayed in. The house is fully equipped and prepared thoughtfully, in particular when we arrived we were welcomed with raki, wine, fruit, juice, and breakfast food. Every room was very clean and cosy. There is free parking right by the house, which is a huge plus since parking in Crete can often be a pain. The garden just below the house was also really beautiful. The hosts were super friendly, warm, and responsive. I definitely recommend staying at Aretousa. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
