Positive: There are two roads leading to these apartments: one is a good asphalt road, and the other is a dirt road with gravel and potholes. The host didn’t warn us about this, and the GPS led us along the second road. As a result, we got stuck in a pothole. The host helped pull our car out, although it took almost two hours of waiting.

Negative: We were traveling with two cars. When the first car arrived, the host told us to check into apartment number 1, so we started unloading our things. Later, it turned out that this wasn’t our apartment, and we had to load everything back in and move. Since we were tired from the road and had a small child with us, this was very inconvenient. After checking in, we discovered that the refrigerator was defrosting and there were wet towels inside. Instead of quickly putting food for the baby in the fridge, I had to remove the ice and wipe it down first. Next, we found out that the mattress for the baby crib didn’t fit its size. We informed the host, who promised to call back but never did and eventually stopped answering our calls altogether. Then we discovered that the internet in the house wasn’t working (there was a router, but no internet connection). Some of us were planning to work during our stay, so this was a major disappointment. The host didn’t help in any way since he wasn’t responding to our calls. There is a small sauna in the bathroom, but it seemed to have problems with the lighting as it kept flickering. We didn’t dare turn it on because we weren’t sure it was safe. The windows of both bedrooms face the children’s playground and a shared barbecue area. Out of the three nights we stayed, only one evening was quiet. On the other two, a large group was partying in the barbecue area. They did leave around 11 PM in accordance with quiet hours, but keep this in mind if you’re planning to stay with a child who goes to bed at 9 PM. Also, be careful: on the children’s playground, there is a wooden playhouse with a sign screwed into it, and sharp screws stick out inside the house. Your child could get hurt. This was my first experience on Booking where the host simply stopped answering calls. I cannot recommend this place.
