Positive: The location is very interesting if you have an adventurous spirit. To reach the first beach, you’ll need to walk about 1.5 km downhill — and the same distance back uphill. Of course, going by car is the easiest option. The road is a bit demanding, nothing too difficult, but for someone who only drives in the city or on highways and lacks experience, it could be a bit of a challenge. If you’re coming during the high season, and swimming in the sea (i.e., going to the beach) isn’t essential for you, and you’d like to avoid the crowds, this is the perfect place. Each apartment has its own pool (some larger, some smaller). Don’t expect to swim in the large pool shown in the photos, as that one belongs to just one apartment. It’s very important to note that this is a truly quiet place, located high above the main road with no other roads nearby. The bedroom is on the opposite side of the house, so at night you’ll fall asleep to the sound of birds only. As for the accommodation itself, you’ll find everything you need to feel just like at home. There are several apartments (so you’re not completely alone), but they’re architecturally very well designed and perfectly integrated into the natural surroundings. The host made an effort to preserve the existing vegetation as much as possible, while also planting new greenery, creating the impression of a beautifully maintained garden. Some comments mention that the interior looks a bit outdated — we’d rather say it’s classically furnished. All the furniture is of very good quality. On the terrace, there are teak chairs and a table — not cheap plastic ones — and everything inside is also carefully chosen and of high quality. You can buy groceries at a local supermarket, and if you need a wider selection, the town of Lefkada is just 12 km away. You’ll find everything there — at least five large supermarkets, bakeries, fish markets, butcher shops, pastry shops, and restaurants. It feels just like being in a big city.
