Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We stayed in Vista Splendida, which as you'd expect had fantastic views up the coast and sunsets to die for. The property isn't huge, however that really doesn't matter. We spent the vast majority of time outside, enjoying the pool, loungers and outside eating area. It should be noted that we were a group of 6 adults. The property was cleaned regularly, with clean linen and towels supplied a couple of times. We loved being slightly away from the village, simply because it was quieter and ever so slightly cooler, with a welcome gentle breeze. Agios Nikitas has plenty of restaurants to chose from and a good hub to venture around the island.

Negative: In the heat of the day, the walk up the track/hill is rather taxing. Cured easily though by jumping in the pool once back, followed by a cool drink whilst looking at the view. The first time you drive up the track was a little challenging, although as a tip, we found that the best way is to keep moving reasonably slowly in a low gear. There were wasps and mosquitos in the evening, however we learnt to ignore the wasps and use Deet when the sun began to drop.

Summary: Highly recommend a stay Agios Nikitas Nature Villas. Met all our expectations.
