Ideal as a base for all other attractions of western Crete. By car you need 20 minutes for the lagoon of Balos, 12 minutes for the beach Falasarna, 30 minutes for the lagoon Elafonissi, 45 minutes for Paleochora, 1 hour for Sougia, 25 minutes for Chania, 1.20 hours for Sfakia. From 5 to 10 minutes walk there are taverns that will surprise you with the flavors and quality of meat or fish at prices much better than any other city in the county. The bus station is very close by. You arrive by bus from the port of Souda or from the airport and change buses to Kissamos. At Kissamos terminal you will walk 50 meters to the apartment. It is not necessary to use a means of transport within the city. It's all close !!
